About Us

"Tell someone you trust. Keep telling until someone listens: To stop the abuse, to protect yourself, to protect other potential victims!"

Our primary roles are to provide crisis intervention, support and education; to make referrals to appropriate agencies; and to promote public awareness concerning sexual assault.

The Fort McMurray Sexual Assault Program works closely with community organizations to ensure the best possible service for survivors and their families.

Our services are provided with the utmost confidentiality. The following services are offered:

CRISIS INTERVENTION

Telephone or drop-in support and assistance designed to reduce both the incidence and trauma of sexual assault and assist in the survivor recovery. Emotional support is also available for families and friends of survivors.
